How to Advertise or List Your Property

Advertising your property on PropertyLocationsNigeria.com is simple, fast, and designed to help agents reach thousands of property seekers across Nigeria. Follow this step‑by‑step guide to register, upload your property details, make payment, and activate your advert.

1. Register as an Agent

To begin, you must create an agent account.

• Click the Register button at the top‑right corner of the website.
• Provide your name, address, phone number, town, state, type and email etc.
• Create a username and password.
• Upload your organisation’s logo (optional but recommended).

Once completed, your agent profile will be created successfully.

2. Sign In to Your Account

After registration:

• Click the Sign in button at the top‑right corner.
• Enter your username and password.
• You will be redirected to your Members Utilies Dashboard, where you can manage your details and adverts.

3. Place a New Property Advert

Your dashboard contains five main sections:

• Your Account Security & Password Management
• Update Your Profile Information
• Manage Your Property Listings - place, edit, deactivate/reactivate or make payment
• Place a new request or view posted requests
• Support & Assistance

To create a new advert:

1. Select Place new advert.
2. Click Enter advert details to open the advert form.

Fill in the required property information:

• AgentId (Already filled in)
• Advert type (For Sale / For Rent)
• Property type
• Number of bedrooms
• Rent period (for rentals)
• Town
• Property road / Area
• Advert title
• Short description (100 characters max)
• Full description
• Price
• Currency
• Advert channel
• Property status
• Upload up to 48 photos

When all details are complete, click Place Advert. If successful, you will see a confirmation message with your advert reference number (Advert Id), and an email notification will be sent to you.

4. Activate Your Advert Through Payment

*Your advert will not appear publicly until payment is made.*

To activate your advert:

1. Go to Your adverts – activate, deactivate or payment.
2. Search or look for your advert using the Advert ID.
3. Click Go to payment.
4. Review your Agent ID, Advert ID, Amount, and Email.
5. Click Pay now to proceed to the secure payment window.

After payment, you will see a Payment Successful message along with your transaction reference. An email confirmation will also be sent to the email against the agent.

If payment fails, the system will display a Payment Failed message.

5. Advert Validity and Expiry

Each advert is valid for one rolling month from the date of payment.

• 31‑day months → advert expires in 31 days
• 30‑day months → advert expires in 30 days
• February → advert expires in 28 or 29 days

After expiry, the advert will no longer appear on the site visible to the public unless renewed with another month’s payment.
